WHAT IS THE FULLY BACKED BY CHEVROLET AND GMC POWERTRAIN LIMITED WARRANTY?

All 2022 Chevrolet and GMC cars, vans, crossovers and light-duty pickup trucks come with our Powertrain Limited Warranty, which is 5 years/100,000 miles^† for customers^† with a qualifying fleet account(s), 5 years/60,000 miles^† for retail buyers, and 5 years/100,000 miles^† for HD diesel pickups. It is fully transferable and there are no fees and no deductibles. The Roadside Assistance^† and Courtesy Transportation Programs^† are also fully backed for 5 years/100,000 miles^† for qualified fleet users on Chevrolet and GMC vehicles and HD diesel pickups, 5 years/60,000 miles for retail buyers, or 8 years/100,000 miles for Chevrolet hybrids^†. HOW IS THE BUMPER-TO-BUMPER LIMITED WARRANTY AFFECTED BY THIS FULLY BACKED WARRANTY?

The Bumper-to-Bumper Limited Warranty on new Chevrolet and GMC cars and light-duty trucks remains in effect for 3 years or 36,000 miles^†; Buick and Cadillac warranty coverage is in effect for 4 years or 50,000 miles^†.

CAN I PURCHASE THIS EXTRA POWERTRAIN COVERAGE FOR MY 2006 (AND PRIOR) VEHICLE?

You may be eligible to choose from one of our Divisional Protection Plan (DEPP) offerings that can be tailored to meet your needs — including extended powertrain coverage. Please contact your selling dealer/retailer for details on the various Divisional Protection Plan programs.

WHAT ABOUT COURTESY TRANSPORTATION?

Courtesy Transportation^† is also included on new Chevrolet, GMC, Buick and Cadillac cars and light-duty trucks. Whenever Powertrain Warranty repairs are required, several transportation options and/or reimbursement of certain transportation expenses are available for your convenience at participating dealers and retailers.

WHAT DOES THE BUMPER-TO-BUMPER WARRANTY COVER?

The Bumper-to-Bumper Limited Warranty covers new Chevrolet and GMC cars and light-duty trucks for 3 years or 36,000 miles^†; Buick and Cadillac warranty coverage is in effect for 4 years or 50,000 miles^†. It covers the vehicle from bumper to bumper on most vehicle defects related to warrantable defects in materials or workmanship. For further details, look in the Owner’s Manual under "What Is Covered" and "What Is Not Covered."

IS MY VEHICLE COVERED FROM RUST, TOO?

Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Cadillac cars and light-duty trucks are designed and built to resist corrosion^†.

Application of additional rust-inhibiting materials is neither necessary nor required under the sheet metal coverage. Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Cadillac make no recommendations concerning the usefulness or value of such products. Application of after-manufacture rustproofing products may create an environment that reduces the corrosion resistance built into your vehicle. Repairs to correct damage caused by such applications are not covered under your New Vehicle Limited Warranty. See your Chevrolet, Buick, GMC or Cadillac dealer for terms of this limited warranty.

CAN I TAKE MY CHEVROLET, BUICK, GMC OR CADILLAC VEHICLE TO ANY GENERAL MOTORS DEALERSHIP FOR WARRANTY REPAIRS OR INCLUDED MAINTENANCE?

While most customers prefer to have their maintenance performed at the dealership where they purchased their vehicle, you may use any General Motors dealership you prefer.

Chevrolet, Buick and GMC owners may take their vehicle to any General Motors dealership (excluding Cadillac) of their choice. It’s advisable, however, to take your vehicle to a dealership that matches its brand, as they will be the most familiar with your vehicle’s specific needs.

For included maintenance, Chevy, Buick and GMC customers can go to any dealership, Cadillac customers must return to Cadillac dealership.
