ELIGIBILITY AND ENROLLMENT
WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO BECOME A GM FLEET CUSTOMER?
To qualify as a General Motors Fleet partner, your company must have purchased or leased five (5) or more new cars and/or trucks (any combination of vehicle manufacturers) principally for business use in its operation within the last 12 months; or currently owns or leases five (5) or more medium duty trucks used in its company service; or currently owns or leases fifteen (15) or more cars and trucks used in its company service. WHAT IS A FLEET ACCOUNT NUMBER (FAN) AND HOW DO I GET ONE FOR MY BUSINESS?
A Fleet Account Number (FAN) is your unique identifier within the GM database. It’s used to individually identify qualified fleet customers, process orders, track vehicle production and delivery, and offer incentives to specific customers. HOW DO I ENROLL IN THE FLEET PROGRAM?
Visit our Eligibility and Enrollment page, where you can download and complete the enrollment form, provide proof of eligibility and email your documentation into our Fleet Action Center for review. Of course, you can always contact a local GM Dealer or connect with a GM Fleet Rep for assistance.
WHAT BENEFITS DOES GM FLEET OFFER?
For eligible fleets, we offer incentives and programs such as fleet-specific OnStar® plans and pricing, telematics offerings, parts discount programs, a comprehensive fleet warranty and more. Visit our GM Eligible Fleets page for all the details.
WHAT IF I AM NOT ELIGIBLE FOR THE FLEET DISCOUNT?

HOW DO I KNOW WHETHER TO REACH OUT TO A FLEET REP OR A GM DEALER FOR MY BUSINESS NEEDS?
For businesses with more than 15 vehicles, contact a Fleet Representative. Our representatives, known as Fleet Account Executives, can work with you to provide solutions around the demanding needs of running your fleet.
For businesses with fewer than 15 vehicles, contact a Business Elite Dealer. They’re here to provide businesses with a knowledgeable and dedicated commercial sales manager, extended service hours and work-ready loaners.

HOW DO I OBTAIN A PRICE ON A CHEVROLET POLICE VEHICLE?
Agencies or municipalities may be able to “piggy back” off a contract currently in place between a dealer and their State, City, or County. If you prefer to purchase from a dealer holding a State, City or County contract, GM’s Police Vehicle Specialists can help you find the dealer holding the contract in your area. Alternatively, you may contact your local dealer to request a quote for the vehicle you are interested in buying/leasing.
ARE FLEET SALES ELIGIBLE FOR RETAIL DISCOUNTS?
No, fleet incentives cannot be combined with retail incentives.
HOW DO I PLACE A FLEET ORDER?
For fleets with less than 15 vehicles, connect with a local GM Dealer. If your fleet has over 15 vehicles, contact a GM Fleet Rep to start the ordering process.
HOW CAN I FIND A GM DEALER THAT SELLS MEDIUM DUTY TRUCKS?
Visit our Locate a Dealer tool and use the Service Filters, which allow you to find dealers that specifically sell and service Medium Duty trucks such as the Silverado Chassis Cab or the Low Cab Forward.
