Powertrain Limited Warranty
All 2013 GM passenger cars, light duty trucks or vans come with at least a 5-Year/100,000-Mile (whichever comes first) Powertrain Limited Warranty1 that:
- Has a $0 deductible
- Is transferable to another owner at no charge
Plus, get 5 years/100,000 miles (whichever comes first) of Courtesy Transportation and Roadside Assistance1.
New Vehicle Limited Warranty
2013 Chevrolet, Buick and GMC passenger car and light-duty truck owners are covered by a New Vehicle Limited Warranty and services that include the following:
Bumper-to-Bumper Coverage
- The 3-year/36,000-mile (whichever comes first) limited warranty covers repairs for all Chevrolet and GMC vehicles, including labor and parts, to correct any defect in materials or workmanship occurring during the warranty period1
- A 4-year/50,000-mile (whichever comes first) limited warranty covers repairs for Buick vehicles, including labor and parts, to correct any defect in materials or workmanship occurring during the warranty period1
- The 6.6L Duramax Diesel engine is covered for 5 years or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first
- Hybrid vehicles have separate component specific coverage1
Courtesy Transportation
- If your vehicle requires warranty repairs during the 5-year/100,000-mile coverage period, alternate transportation and/or reimbursement of certain transportation expenses are available under the Courtesy Transportation Program. Several transportation options are available.
- Courtesy Transportation is not part of or included in the coverage provided by the New Vehicle Limited Warranty. It excludes vehicles in daily and long-term rental service. General Motors and General Motors of Canada Limited reserve the right to make any changes or discontinue the Courtesy Transportation program at any time without notification.
Roadside Assistance
GM is proud to offer the response, security and convenience of GM's 24-hour Roadside Assistance Program for a period of 5 years or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first. Consult your dealer for details.

Premium Care Maintenance
Cadillac provides owners of all 2013 models with frequently required maintenance services for the first 4 years or 50,000 miles (whichever comes first).1 This covers scheduled oil changes, tire rotations, replacement of engine and cabin air filters and a multi-point vehicle inspection at a participating Cadillac dealer.
24-Hour Customer Assistance

Cadillac Roadside Service
- Cadillac is proud to offer the response, security and convenience of Cadillac's 24-Hour Roadside Service Program for a period of 5 years or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first.1
- Contact Cadillac Roadside Assistance at 1-800-882-1112 Trip-Interruption Protection.
- Trip-Interruption Benefits and Assistance: If your trip is interrupted due to a warranty failure, incidental expenses may be reimbursed during the 5-Year/100,000-Mile (160 000 km) (whichever comes first)1 Powertrain warranty period. Items considered are hotel, meals and rental car. Consult your dealer for details.

- The Cadillac Bumper-to-Bumper new vehicle limited warranty covers the vehicle for 4 years/50,000 miles, whichever comes first, with no deductible.1
- Sheet metal panels are covered against corrosion and rust-through as follows:
- Corrosion: Body sheet metal panels are covered against rust for 4 years or 50,000 miles, whichever comes first.
- Rust-Through: Any body sheet metal panel that rusts through (an actual hole in the sheet metal) is covered for up to 6 years, unlimited mileage.
- Important: Cosmetic or surface corrosion, resulting from stone chips or scratches in the paint, for example, is not included in sheet metal coverage.

Gold Key Delivery
The Sales Consultant will conduct a thorough inspection, provide a complete tour of the new Cadillac and then present a package of ownership materials.

The Powertrain Limited Warranty is fully backed for 100,000 miles or 5 years (whichever comes first).1 It is fully transferable and there are no fees and no deductibles. - How is the bumper-to-bumper warranty affected by this fully backed 100,000-mile/5-year warranty?

- What about Courtesy Transportation?

Courtesy Transportation is also included for 5 years/100,000 miles (whichever comes first)1 on all 2013 Chevrolet, Buick and GMC passenger cars and light duty trucks. Whenever warranty repairs are required, several transportation options and/or reimbursement of certain transportation expenses are available for your convenience at participating dealers and retailers.
- What does the bumper-to-bumper warranty cover?

The bumper-to-bumper New Vehicle Limited Warranty covers vehicles registered in the U.S. and Canada from the date the vehicle is first delivered until it reaches 3 years or 36,000 miles (whichever occurs first).1 (Buick bumper-to-bumper coverage is 4 years, 50,000 miles, whichever comes first.) It covers the vehicle from bumper to bumper on any vehicle defect related to materials or workmanship. For further details, look in the Owner's Manual under "What Is Covered" and "What Is Not Covered."
- Is my vehicle covered from rust, too?

Chevrolet, Buick and GMC vehicles are designed and built to resist corrosion. All body and sheet metal components are warranted against rust-through corrosion for 6 years/100,000 miles (whichever comes first). Application of additional rust-inhibiting materials is neither necessary nor required under the Sheet Metal Coverage. Chevrolet, Buick and GMC make no recommendations concerning the usefulness or value of such products. Application of after-manufacture rustproofing products may create an environment that reduces the corrosion resistance built into your vehicle. Repairs to correct damage caused by such applications are not covered under your New Vehicle Limited Warranty. See your Chevrolet, Buick and GMC dealer for terms of this limited warranty.
- Do I have to go the Chevrolet, Buick and GMC dealer where I purchased my vehicle to have this type of work performed?

While most customers prefer to have this type of work performed at their selling dealer, it can be performed at any Chevrolet, Buick and GMC dealership.
- Can I take my Chevrolet, Buick and GMC to any GM dealership for warranty repairs?

Warranty repairs must be performed by an authorized Chevrolet, Buick and GMC dealer, except when a covered part or a Chevrolet, Buick and GMC dealer is not reasonably available to the vehicle owner. It's in your best interest to take your Chevrolet, Buick and GMC vehicle to a Chevrolet, Buick and GMC dealer for all repairs since they are the most knowledgeable about the particulars of your vehicle.
- Does GM offer or endorse any service contracts for new or used vehicles?

Yes, the GM Protection Plan (GMPP) vehicle service and maintenance contracts are the only products endorsed by General Motors and are available through most GM dealers. To learn more about the different plans available, please visit gmprotectionplan.com.
