Up to a $250,000 Expense Deduction*

Accelerated Depreciation Bonus

Take Advantage of the New Energy Tax Credit
If you already own a GM hybrid, or are thinking of purchasing a new GM hybrid for your business, the government has some great news. Thanks to the New Energy Tax Credit, GM hybrids purchased or placed into service after December 31, 2005 may be eligible for a federal income tax credit of up to $3,400.†
Plus, your state and local governments may also offer additional incentives on hybrid vehicles, making now the time to consider a GM hybrid vehicle.

- The 2010 GM Business Choice Program is valid from January 5, 2010 through September 30, 2010. You must purchase or lease your vehicle during the program period and be prepared to provide proof of your business. Vehicle must be used in the day-to-day operation of the business and not solely for transportation purposes. This program may not be compatible with other offers or incentive programs. Consult with your Chevy or GMC dealer for program compatibility and other restrictions.

Think Getting a New Vehicle Loan is Impossible?
Think Again.
Today, with new provisions under the Stimulus Act, the Small Business Administration (SBA) is making it easier—and less expensive—for small business owners to get loans.
Now, you may be eligible to finance a GM vehicle using one of several loan types available through the SBA 7(a) Guaranty Loan Program. These loans are made and administered by private lenders — or providers. The providers structure their own loans using SBA guidelines, and extend these loans to you, the small-business owner.
Below are several types of 7(a) loans. Work with your provider or contact the SBA directly to determine which is best for you.
SBA Community Express Loan (36-Hour Turnaround)
- Maximum loan amount: $250,000
- Maximum guaranty: Up to 85%
- Rates: Lenders may charge up to Prime plus 2.25% for maturities under seven years and Prime plus 2.75% for maturities of seven years or more, with rates 2% higher for loans of $25,000 or less and 1% higher for loans between $25,000 and $50,000.
SBA Express Loan (36-Hour Turnaround)
- Maximum loan amount: $350,000
- Maximum guaranty: 50%
- Rates: Lenders may charge up to 6.5% over Prime rate for loans of $50,000 or less and up to 4.5% over the prime rate for loans over $50,000.
How Do I Apply?
- Identify an institution (provider) that issues SBA loans — click here to find a provider in your region (scroll to “contents” to locate lender listing).
- Complete the preliminary application process on the provider's Web site.
- The provider will then inform you if you qualify for these types of loans.
- Once you qualify, you'll need to download, print and complete the application form(s) required by your provider (some loans will require a business plan – SBA has an online seminar to show you how to complete the plan).
- The provider processes your application within 36 hours.
- The provider issues the funds to you, the small-business owner.
