Air Bags: Dual-stage frontal, driver and right-front passenger: (click here for important details)

Dual-stage air bags are engineered to help protect the driver and right-front passenger by supplementing the safety belts.

Always use safety belts and the correct child restraints for your child's age and size, even in vehicles equipped with air bags. Children are safer when properly secured in a rear seat. See the vehicle's Owner's Manual and child safety seat instructions for safety information.

Brakes: Four-wheel antilock, 4-wheel disc.

The antilock brake system (ABS) is designed to help drivers maintain steering control by reducing wheel lockup during hard braking on most slippery or dry surfaces.

Theft-Deterrent system: Vehicle -- PASS-Key III

As an added security feature, the Chevy Uplander features the PASS-Key III theft-deterrent system, which includes a special ignition key with up to three trillion possible code variations. If an attempt is made to start your vehicle without the properly coded key, the starter and fuel injectors are temporarily disabled.

Traction Control: All-speed

Traction Control reduces engine power to help reduce wheel slip during acceleration on many surfaces.
