Air Bags: Frontal, driver and right front passenger and side head curtain for 1st and 2nd row outboard passengers (Click here for important safety details)

Dual-stage frontal air bags utilize sensors to detect the severity of a crash, and then determine whether the air bags should be deployed and at what level of force.

The Passenger Sensing System automatically switches the right-front passenger frontal air bag on or off based on the passenger's weight and the type of pressure on the seat.

Head-curtain side-impact air bags are designed to help reduce the risk of head injuries to first- and second-row outboard occupants on the near side of certain side-impact collisions.

Head curtain side air bags are designed to help reduce risk of head and neck injuries to front and rear seat occupants on the near side of certain side-impact collisions. Always use safety belts and the correct child restraints for your child's age and size. Even in vehicles equipped with air bags and the Passenger Sensing System, children are safer when property secured in a rear seat. Never place rear-facing infant restraint in the front seat of any vehicle equipped with an active frontal air bag. See the Owner's manual and child safety seat instructions for more safety information.
