ALTERNATIVE FUEL VEHICLES, CNG & MORE

We’re dedicated to designing, building and selling the world’s best vehicles with your business needs and bottom line in mind. Propelled by innovation, our engineers are developing advanced technologies to improve fuel economy,
decrease emissions and a reduced our dependence on petroleum.

We already have 14 models that offer an EPA-est. 30 MPG highway, including
several hybrids. Just last year we introduced the dynamic new Volt1 – the world's
first extended-range gas-generated electric vehicle. But we're not stopping there;
we're expanding our range of alternative fuel technologies with Compressed Natural
Gas (CNG) and Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG). Plus other exciting options like
diesel, biofuels and hydrogen fuel cell vehicles, which will help us continue to deliver
not only the world's best vehicles, but also the world's leading technology.

CNG Options For Vans

The 2014 Chevrolet Express and GMC Savana vans offer a Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) option for fleet and commercial customers.

Propelled by innovation, we strive to lead in delivering new fuel-saving technologies in cars and trucks with your business needs and bottom line in mind. Our engineers focus on mass reduction, aerodynamics, lightweight materials, tire construction, and other technologies to make our vehicles more efficient.

Since the 1970s, we’ve improved fuel efficiency 180% for cars and 93% for trucks. For the 2014 model year, we have 24 models achieving at least an EPA-estimated 30 mpg hwy – four of which get at least 40 mpg hwy, like the segment-leading Chevrolet Cruze Eco1. We added the Spark EV2 to our line of electric vehicles, and we continue to expand our range of alternative fuel technologies with Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) and Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG). Plus other exciting options like diesel, biofuels, and hydrogen fuel cell vehicles, which will help us continue to deliver not only the world’s best vehicles, but also the world’s leading technology.
