Q1. Can you please explain this offer to me?

A. A private offer of $500 toward the purchase or lease of most new GM vehicles to NAHB association members.

Q2. Can I use this private offer toward the purchase or lease of any new GM vehicle?

A. 1. All 2011, 2012 and 2013 model year new and unused GM passenger car and light-duty truck models are eligible for this offer. This offer excludes all Cadillac models, Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, Spark and Volt. Additional GM models may be excluded from time to time at GM's sole discretion.

2. Association members whose businesses qualify as a fleet are eligible for the National Fleet Purchase Program (FVX) - plus the NAHB private offer. See your dealer for FVX program details.

Q3. What other incentives can be combined with the NAHB private offer?

A. This private offer is in addition to most eligible consumer incentive programs in effect at time of vehicle delivery. The offer can be combined with most retail national and regional incentives, including GM Business Choice. For those NAHB members whose businesses qualify as a fleet, they are eligible for the National Fleet Purchase Program (FVX), in addition to this offer. This private offer cannot be combined with other private offers, cannot be used on prior purchases/leases, and may not be received as cash. Please see your dealer for details.

Q4. How do NAHB Members find out about this offer?

A. A direct mail is provided to all members by May 2012.

Q5. How do I redeem this offer?

A. The NAHB member must present their proof of membership form or letter to the dealer when ready to purchase or lease a vehicle.

Proof of Membership Process – Active NAHB Members

1. Go to www.nahb.org/ma and click on the GM logo.
2. Click on the Get Your Proof of Membership Form button.
3. If you are logged in to www.nahb.org/ma the page will populate with your information. If not, the page will prompt you to either log-in to nahb.org or to create a log-in if you do not have one already. Note, you will need your pin number to create a log-in. 4. Print the Proof of Membership form and give to your dealer.

Proof of Membership Process – New or Recently Renewed NAHB Members

1. Contact your local HBA.
2. Have your local HBA print out a Proof of NAHB Membership Letter and fax to you or your dealer for immediate access to the program. Also fax a copy to Christy Ronaldson at 202-266-8559.

If a NAHB member is logged in, but the system does not recognize the member, there are a few reasons why this could be happening:

1. If you recently renewed your membership, you may not appear in the NAHB system immediately. Please contact your local HBA and have them print out a Proof of Membership Letter and fax to you or your dealer for immediate access to the program. Also fax a copy to 202-266-8559.
2. You must be the member of record for your company, as this is the person who needs to do the purchasing for the company. If you are not listed as the member of record for your company, but you should be, please contact your local HBA and have them print out a Proof of Membership Letter and fax to you or your dealer for immediate access to the program. Also fax a copy to Christy Ronaldson at 202-266-8559.

Q6. Can I use my GM Card earnings with this NAHB private offer?

A. Yes.

Q7. Are GM employees eligible for this offer? Can this offer be combined with any GM employee discounts?

A. No.

Q9. The offer lists passenger cars and light-duty trucks as eligible for the offer. Are vans and SUVs eligible, too?

A. Most pickups, vans and SUVs are considered light-duty trucks, which are all eligible. All Cadillac models, Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, Spark and Volt.

Q10. Are dealer demo and drivers' training vehicles eligible under the NAHB private offer?

A. Yes, as long as they have a minimum of 2500 miles and a maximum of 7500 miles.

Q11. When can I use this offer?

A. You must take delivery by January 2, 2013. Prior purchases or leases are not eligible.

Q12. I purchased an eligible vehicle and forgot or just learned about this program. Can I still get the incentive?

A. No, prior purchases are not eligible. Please see your dealer for details.

Q13. May I order a vehicle and still use this private offer?

A. Yes, as long as you take delivery during the program period January 4, 2012 through January 2, 2013.

Q14. Is this offer transferable?

A. Yes, this offer is transferable to an individual residing in the same household as the NAHB member. However, this offer is not transferable to an employee or principal of your business, unless they reside in the same household. Proof of membership form or letter must be presented to the dealer when transferring this offer to an individual residing in the same household. Proof of transferee's residency must be verified with a current driver's license or state identification to the address located on the NAHB member's proof of membership form or letter.

Q15. I have a fleet of vehicles for my business. Can I take advantage of this offer?

A. Yes, NAHB members whose businesses qualify as a fleet are eligible for the National Fleet Purchase Program (FVX), plus the NAHB private offer. See your dealer for details.

Q16. What are the requirements to be a GM Fleet customer?

A. A Qualified Fleet Customer/User is defined as any company or organization that purchases or leases five (5) or more new cars and/or trucks solely for use in its operations during the current or preceding model or calendar year or preceding twelve (12) month period, OR that owns or leases fifteen (15) or more cars and/or trucks solely for use in its operations. Qualified Fleet Customers are always determined by the ultimate users and the ongoing usage of the vehicles in their business operations. This principle applies to vehicles purchased from a General Motors Dealer or leased from a financial institution. All customers must meet the in-service requirements. A qualified fleet customer/user must have a General Motors Fleet Account Number (FAN) to be eligible for any General Motors fleet incentive. If you do not have a FAN number and qualify as a fleet, see your GM dealer who can verify your eligibility and apply for a FAN.

Q17. Do I have to finance or lease my new vehicle with GMAC?

A. No.

Q18. Can I redeem this offer for cash?

A. No.

Q19. Can I use this private offer to purchase or lease a vehicle outside the U.S.?

A. You must be a permanent resident of, and take delivery in, the continental U.S., Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico or the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Q20. Are there any tax advantages for my business if I acquire a vehicle?

A. You will need to check with your tax professional for advice.

Q21. How many vehicles may I purchase with the offer?

A. You may purchase as many vehicles as you want under this program, as long as you meet the eligibility requirements.

Q22. Can I buy some vehicles at one dealership and others at another dealership?

A. Yes.

Q23. Can I join the association today, in order to get the offer?

A. Yes.

Q24. Can I receive this discount from any GM Dealer?

A. This program is available through all participating U.S. GM Dealers and is voluntary on the part of each dealer. You should inform the dealer of your intention to use the NAHB private offer during your first contact with the dealer. If your dealer elects not to participate, you may visit another GM Dealer.
