What is the process for selecting a police vehicle from eFleet?

Accessing product information on the Website is done through "Ordering & Acquiring," "Available Vehicles," "eFleet Product Availability.", Information regarding vehicle availability and content can only be viewed by a GM dealer.

If you are a GM dealer, outlined below are guidelines and information for selecting a vehicle. All police units are produced with SEO content; however, some options can be removed or changed.

How do I disable Daytime Running Lamps (DRL's) on a non-police vehicles?

Safety is always a high priority at General Motors; however, it is recognized that alterations need to be made to accommodate certain situations. The required procedure for disabling DRL's is to provide a written request (on municipal letterhead) to the Service Manager of your local GM dealership. Advise the Service Manager to contact GM Techline Customer Support Center (TCSC) for further direction. Note: Depending on make and model of the vehicle needing to be altered, an additional charge may be incurred for this service.

How do I key new vehicles to match previous model year vehicles?

GM offers two different "key-alike" options for municipalities: 6E2 and 6E8. One of these two options must be ordered on the initial units to ensure future units are keyed the same.
