    Overview:

Chevrolet Tahoe Special Service (5W4) is the right choice for law enforcement agencies with special needs/applications, offering an outstanding combination of utility, performance and fuel efficiency* that's ideal for HAZMAT, K9, Medical First Responder and tactical operations. The Tahoe police SUV is available as a four-wheel drive model, utilizing a regular production suspension and chassis configuration that's not intended for high-speed emergency vehicle operations.

A front 40/20/40 cloth bench seat with fold down armrest comes standard, as does a 60/40 vinyl rear bench seat, heavy duty floor covering, dual-zone climate control and front and rear air conditioning. Roof rail air bags with rollover sensor are standard. GM's StabiliTrak® stability enhancement system with Proactive Rollover Avoidance is also standard, while both the heavy-duty suspension and auxiliary vented front brake rotors are police specific. A 100-amp ignition and main electrical power supply is also installed at both the instrument panel and in the cargo area.

    Standard features include:

    • Front cloth 40/20/40 split-bench seat with fold down armrest and driver 6-way power adjuster
