MUNICIPAL SALES PROCESS

The GM Bid Center provides support to GM dealers interested in bidding to supply vehicles to qualified government organizations or agencies.

If you are responsible for the procurement of vehicles for a Political Subdivision, GM dealers can work with you to meet all your vehicle needs. Organizations eligible for GM bid assistance include:

  • State, county or local government offices
  • School districts or sheriff's departments
  • Select government-owned or operated public utilities and government-owned or operated railroads

If you are not sure whether you qualify to acquire vehicles under this program, please contact your local GM dealer.

The process is simple:

  • Create your RFP/RFQ or Bid Specification within your organization's existing guidelines.
  • Publish the RFP/RFQ/BID to local General Motors dealers to obtain competitive pricing for vehicles that will meet your needs.

GM dealers sell and service a wide assortment of vehicles to meet your needs: cars (including Police cars), trucks, vans and sport utility vehicles. Many trucks and vans can be upfitted or modified for specific applications1, such as:

  • Police
  • Fire/Rescue
  • Ambulance/Advanced Life Support
  • School buses
  • Shuttle buses
  • General service
  • Facility/grounds support/maintenance
  • Snow removal
