How to Obtain and Verify Proof of ABC Membership
Only current ABC members are eligible for this private offer. GM dealers cannot apply the private offer savings unless they include a valid proof of ABC membership in the job jacket file for each vehicle purchased or leased. The only acceptable forms for proof or membership are:
- Current ABC Membership Card.
- Letter that is faxed, mailed or emailed from either the ABC Chapter office or the ABC National office with authorized signature verifying current membership.
- Official ABC-produced Private Offer materials sent to the ABC member with pre-printed ABC member information.
ABC members may obtain official proof of ABC membership by emailing their request to: membership@abc.org.
Non-ABC Members and Dropped ABC Members
GM dealers cannot apply these private offer savings to customers that are not current ABC members or to former ABC members that have dropped their membership in ABC. Dealers will be charged back any incentives applied for through this private offer if the job jacket does not have valid proof of current ABC membership for the customer.

A. This program is a private offer to all members of the Associated Builders and Contractors Association, Inc. (ABC). There are three different levels for this private offer:
- $500 Passenger cars, sport utilities and the all new full-size pickup trucks
- $1000 All other pickup trucks
- $2000 Vans

Additional GM models may be excluded from time to time at GM's sole discretion.

- Q3. What other incentives can be combined with this ABC private offer?
A. This private offer is in addition to most eligible business or consumer incentive programs in effect at time of vehicle delivery. The offer can be combined with most retail national and regional incentives, including GM Business Choice. ABC members whose businesses qualify as a fleet are eligible for the National Fleet Purchase Program (FVX) in addition to this private offer. A. ABC has been provided program details, and will communicate to its members. Dealers have provided an incentive bulletin with all details.

A. The ABC member must present their ABC membership card when ready to purchase or lease a vehicle.
- Q6. I lost my ABC membership card. What should I do?

- Q10. The offer lists passenger cars and light-duty trucks as eligible for the offer. Are vans and SUVs eligible, too?
A. Most pickups, vans and SUVs are considered light-duty trucks, which are all eligible. HUMMER H1 is not a light-duty truck and is; therefore, not eligible. See your dealer for details.
- Q11. Are dealer demo and drivers training vehicles eligible under the GM ABC private offer?
A. Yes, as long as they have a minimum of 2500 miles and a maximum of 7500 miles.
- Q12. When can I use this offer?
A. You must take delivery between June 1, 2007 and December 31, 2008. Prior purchases or leases are not eligible.
- Q13. I purchased an eligible vehicle prior to the announcement of the program. Can I still get the incentive?
A. No, prior purchases are not eligible.
- Q14. May I order a vehicle and still use this private offer?
A. Yes, as long you take delivery by December 31, 2008.

- Q16. I have a fleet of vehicles for my business. Can I take advantage of this offer?
A. ABC members whose businesses qualify as a fleet are eligible for the National Fleet Purchase Program (FVX), plus this GM ABC private offer. See your dealer for details.
- Q17. What are the requirements to be a GM Fleet customer?
A. A Qualified Fleet Customer/User is defined as any company or organization that purchases or leases five (5) or more new cars and/or trucks solely for use in its operations during the current or preceding model or calendar year or preceding twelve (12) month period, OR that owns or leases fifteen (15) or more cars and/or trucks solely for use in its operations. Qualified Fleet Customers are always determined by the ultimate users and the ongoing usage of the vehicles in their business operations. This principle applies to vehicles purchased from a General Motors Dealer or leased from a financial institution. All customers must meet the in-service requirements. A qualified fleet customer/user must have a General Motors Fleet Account Number (FAN) to be eligible for any General Motors fleet incentive. If you dont have a FAN number and qualify as a fleet, see your GM dealer who can verify your eligibility and apply for a FAN.
- Q18. Do I have to finance or lease my new vehicle with GMAC?
A. No.
- Q19. Can I redeem this offer for cash?
A. No.
- Q20. Can I use this private offer to purchase or lease a vehicle outside the U.S.?
A. You must be a permanent resident of, and take delivery in, the continental U.S., Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico or the U.S. Virgin Islands.

A. You will need to check with your tax professional for advice.
- Q22. How many vehicles may I purchase with the offer?
A. You may purchase as many vehicles as you want under this program, as long as you meet the eligibility requirements.

A. Yes.

- Q25. Can I receive this discount from any GM Dealer?
A. This program is available through all participating U.S. GM Dealers and is voluntary on the part of each dealer. You should inform the dealer of your intention to use the GM ABC private offer during your first contact with the dealer. If your dealer elects not to participate, you may visit another GM Dealer.

- Q27. Are upfitter equipment or dealer installed options covered by this offer?

- Q2. Will we receive manifest lists? Will they be on GM DealerWorld? When?
A. No, a dealer manifest list will not be available for this association.
- Q3. What if a customer comes in and says that s/he lost their membership card?
A. The member will need to contact the local ABC chapter or email membership@abc.org to obtain a replacement membership card.

A. ABC members only.
- Q5. What if a customer comes in and wants to buy additional vehicles?
